2016, courageous Italians had an idea to produce high-quality hard Parmesan cheese in Russia. The cheese has an unusual name Great Vyatka, Velikaya Vyatka. Previously, the city of Kirov was named after this large river Vyatka. These places captured the hearts of Italians. That is why they decided to call their cheeses that way.
During his frequent visits to Russia, Filippo Spadi has noted the lack of hard cheeses in stores. The range and quality of dairy products in the Kirov region inspired him to create a unique production of #vyatskyparmesan cheese. For a whole year, the quality analyzes of milk from various suppliers were carried out. Then the winner was identified - the Bogorodsky dairy plant. Filippo Spadi has organized the delivery of equipment from Italy, followed by the maestro cheese maker Giuliano Roversi.
